Wildflower identification sessions with Professor Libby John

Join us on the first Friday of every month at 11am for an informal identification and discussion session on Microsoft Teams.

In this virtual club, we invite you to share your most recent wildflower finds, whether by showing your specimens on screen or by emailing us your photos in advance. We’ll show you what we’ve seen on campus and further afield.

In the first session of the year on Friday 5 March, Alex Foxley-Johnson, from our Sustainability team, will also be giving you her top tips on becoming more confident at photographing flowers.

“I often get asked what the difference is between wildflowers and weeds. There really isn’t one – a weed is just a wildflower growing where someone doesn’t want it to grow so everything with a flower counts except for garden flowers.” – Professor Libby John

Places are limited so be sure to get in touch and book your space by emailing environment@lincoln.ac.uk. We will then forward you the invite.
