Applications sought for Dean of International and Postgraduate Taught Students

 posted by | 17/05/2022

The new role has been created following the increases in international and postgraduate student numbers and will directly and strategically support the University’s ongoing ambition in these areas.

Postgraduate and international students come with several expectations and needs that differ from our core undergraduate population. The new Dean role has been created to ensure that our international and taught postgraduate students have the best student experience possible. This post will build on the previous PGT Dean role and huge thanks are due to Dr Farhan Ahmed for his hard work and achievements in this post, from which he will now stand down.

Working alongside colleagues in the Lincoln Academy of Learning and Teaching, the Dean will lead postgraduate and international progress in support of the Teaching and Learning Strategy 2022-27 and the new University Strategic Plan 2022-27.

The post is being made available to internal candidates only in support of our commitment to developing staff by providing opportunities for internal movement and promotion.
