Rurality Showcase – Calls for Presentations

19 JUL
 posted by

The Rurality Steering Group would like to invite colleagues to submit presentations for an in-person Showcase event that is being held on Tuesday 19th July 2022, 09:00-13:00 in SLB Lecture Theatre.

The presentations should follow the theme of ‘What is Happening in Rurality Research?’. The aim of the presentations is to build on the idea that rural research can take many forms, and provide the audience with an insight as to the sense of range and variety that encompasses the rurality theme.

We welcome short talks, of no more than 5 minutes and a maximum of 3 slides, from researchers at all stages of their careers, including postgraduate (e.g.: MPhil, MSc by Research and PhD) students, who are involved in rural research. We also welcome pre-recorded presentations, of no more than 5 minutes, for those people who have other commitments and cannot present on the day.

If you are involved in research that connects with or explores the theme of Rurality and would like to present your work at the Showcase, then please send an abstract (200 words max.) of your proposed presentation to Charlotte Hudson-Davis (chudsondavis@lincoln.ac.uk) by 17:00 on Monday 4th July 2022.

If you have any questions, please email Professor Mark Gussy (mgussy@lincoln.ac.uk).
