LIBS Senior Lecturer Presented the Recent Research at ISBE Annual Conference 2022

Dr Jialin Hardwick, Senior Lecturer at Lincoln International Business School, attended the ISBE (The Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship) annual conference 2022 and presented the recent research ‘Trust development in the commercialisation of innovation in the digital age’ in York, UK, 28th October 2022 on behalf of the research team (with Dr Barry Ardley), Lincoln International Business School, University of Lincoln.

ISBE (The Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship) is a leading institute of small businesses, entrepreneurship, and policy research. The conference theme focused on ‘New Approaches to Raising Entrepreneurial Opportunities: Reshaping inclusive Enterprise, Policy, and Practice Post-Pandemic’, chaired by Professor Kiran Trehan, PVC, the University of York, with key note speakers and panellists including Professor Charlie Jeffery, VC, the University of York; Richard Askew, Federation of Small Business Chair of English Policy Unit; Professor Karen Bryan, VC, York St John University, the Rt Hon Justine Greening, Chair of the Purpose Coalition, and Professor Stephen Roper, Director Enterprise Research Centre, Warwick Business School, University of Warwick.

There are a wide range of studies from the UK-based and international institutions tackled the key issues, represented commitment and ambition from the Universities’ research community to explore and debate on ‘the enabling’ mechanisms, to learn from the business practices and to enhance our existing knowledge base.

Dr Jialin Hardwick commented, “I appreciate the fruitful discussions and the feedback from ‘Network, Innovation and Policy’ panel on our research as well as a great opportunity where academics in the field exchange insightful views.”
