Christmas Charity Collection @ The Libraries

This year, the libraries are collecting for the well-deserved charity- Lincoln Community Larder.

The Lincoln Community Larder is a registered charity which aims to relieve poverty in the Lincoln area through the provision of basic nutritious food and other basic amenities to those in need of short-term help. Read more about their important work here > https://www.lincolnlarder.co.uk/

We will be collecting in both the University Library (collection boxes located under our Christmas tree) and the Ross Library (collection boxes located on the table near group room LMS1003) from now until late December.

Lincoln Community Larder are in desperate need of;

• Tins of: Fruit, Rice Pudding, Tuna, Meats – for example stews, meatballs, curries, Hot Dogs, Peas, Carrots, Sweetcorn, Tomatoes.
• Weetabix or own brand equivalent. Other breakfast cereals.
• Instant Coffee (small jars)
• Sugar (250g packs)
• Jam, Marmalade or Lemon Curd
• Pasta sauces
• Semi-skimmed UHT milk.
• Instant mashed potato.
• Biscuits
• Puddings – Jellies – ‘Angel Delights.’

Also – toiletries:

• Soap, Shampoo, Shower Gel, Disposable Razors, Deodorants, Handy packs of tissues, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste and Sanitary Items.

No donation is too small, we look forward to seeing you soon.
