British Council grant awarded to colleagues in LIBS and CoASSH
Associate Professor in Learning Innovation in LIBS, Tracey White, and Senior Lecturer, Olanrewaju Olaoye aka Larry from CoASSH are delighted to have been awarded a grant from the British Council Going Global Partnerships: Gender Equality Partnerships to carry out a project with colleagues from University of The Witwatersrand, South Africa, “Exploring pathways to equality: Understanding gender disparities in South African Higher Education”.
The grant total is £25,000 and the project will run for a year in total.
This is fantastic news for LIBS as we embark on another British Council project thereby consolidating our partnership with the funder and University of The Witwatersrand, known internationally for its research, high academic standards, and commitment to social justice in Africa and beyond.
