School of Psychology raise over £7k for Cancer Research

The School of Psychology started to raise money for Cancer Research in 2021, when one of their team was sadly diagnosed with cancer. Since then, they have taken part in a Cancer Research fundraising activity once a year to show support for this colleague, along with another one who was also diagnosed a year or so ago, and any friends/family that have been affected by cancer. The team (both Academics and Admin) initially took part in the ‘Pretty Muddy 5K’ events, before taking part in ‘100 Miles in May’ this year instead.

In total, the team have raised £7,429.71 (including gift aid) across the last four years and they plan to continue to raise money each year. Congratulations to the team!
