Global Security in the Age of Trump 2.0
Next week on Tuesday 18 March from 12pm – 1pm, the School of Social and Political Sciences is hosting a roundtable to discuss the implications for Global Security following the first weeks of Donald Trump’s second presidency.
Whether you are interested in what Trump’s approach to dealing with Russia will have on the conflict in Ukraine, or what his reluctance for the US to act as security guarantor in a potential peace agreement means for the future European Security, or what it all means for relations with China and the Indo-Pacific region, we will seek to discuss these issues and more. Speakers will include Dr. Edwin Bacon, Dr. Xinchuchu Gao, Professor Rico Isaacs and Dr Mike Slaven.
The roundtable will be a forum for staff and students to come together to discuss these key issues of our time and to engage in lively discussion and debate.
Come join us next Tuesday in MB0312, Co-op Lecture Theatre, Minerva Building, Brayford Campus.
