Speaker at the Joint ESPE + ESE (Endocrinology) Congress in Copenhagen
I was honoured to be asked to speak at the joint European Society of Endocrinology (ESE) and European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) congress and Endo-ERN General assembly in Copenhagen. One of 300 speakers, with nearly 8,000 delegates over 5 days, it was certainly the biggest event I’ve spoken at. It was a great opportunity to network with the other attendees who represented 120 countries. I spoke about missed opportunities for diagnosis of complex conditions, poor primary care and the challenges around gender identity of some intersex conditions.
