Banco Santander and the IE Foundation are offering 5,000 scholarships for educators to take a high quality course developed by teachers from IE University to train them to tackle the transition to a digital educational environment.

This scholarship program offers 5,000 scholarships to teachers to take the Online Learning Journey “The New Role of the Educator: Best practices in Online Education”, an online course that will become a basic and fundamental guide for any university educator that is willing to offer their classes in a digital environment.

In order to achieve these objectives, the course presents flexible training online that enables participants to study at their own pace, and requires about 6 hours of commitment. This course can be taken in Spanish (start date: May 4th), English (start date: May 4th) or Portuguese (start date: May 18th).

The main topics included will be:

– Introduction to online training.
– Creation or adaptation of my course to an attractive online format.
– Videoconference and discussion forums.
– Exercises, exams and feedback,
– Sharing best practices.
– Trends, future and other advanced tools.
