LIBS Welcomes Two Visiting Professors from Ho Chi Minh City
The Lincoln International Business School is delighted to welcome two Visiting Professors from Vietnam who will be working with University colleagues for the next three years.
Professor Dong Phong Nguyen is the President of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) and is widely published in the field of business. Under his leadership, the University has transformed significantly from a traditionally Vietnamese teaching university into a research-oriented university. The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City is now among the top universities in Vietnam in the field of economics, business and law.
Professor Dong Phong Nguyen commented, “I am very happy to be appointed as a Visiting Professor at the University of Lincoln. I will do my best to promote the link between Vietnam and the UK in general and the collaboration between the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and the University of Lincoln in particular. The University of Lincoln and UEH has a comprehensive collaboration agreement and I will further this to the next level.
In the near future, I will contribute my expertise to the Vietnam UK Policy and Economic Research that I know has been established at the University of Lincoln. The University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City also has set aside a research fund to promote joint research program between UoL and UEH. “
Dr Hao Quach, Associate Professor and Programme Leader from LIBS commented, “I am delighted at the news.
