Call for participants- the impact of COVID 19 on disabled university staff
Rebecca Sanderson within the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team is conducting research to understand more about the experiences of University of Lincoln staff through the COVID-19 pandemic, and to improve knowledge of how best to support staff (both academic and professional services) following the rapid changes to working practices and the work environment since March 2020.
This research aims to understand the equality impacts upon staff with one or more disabilities (including chronic mental and physical health conditions, neuro diverse staff and those with physical impairments).
If you meet this criteria, you are invited to participate in a research interview to talk about your experiences of working at the University during the pandemic. This would involve taking part in an online meeting (via Microsoft Teams) with a researcher for around 30-60 minutes. You will be asked to talk about your experiences of work during the pandemic at the University of Lincoln.
If you are interested in taking part please contact Rebecca at rsanderson@lincoln.ac.uk to find out more.
Content warning: Taking part will involve talking about sensitive topics including stress and the health impacts of the pandemic on yourself and others and this could potentially be distressing for some people.
This research has received a favourable ethical opinion from the University of Lincoln Ethics Committee, Ref: 2021-6803
