CGI Cyber Escape Room pop-up in Lincoln for just one week

A 40ft shipping container has just landed on the University of Lincoln’s campus. Inside, is a CGI Cyber Escape Room designed to plunge participants into simulated real-world cyber security situations, testing their knowledge and challenging their ability to react effectively to cyber-attacks.

Malware and phishing attempts are a significant threat to many organisations, due to the ever-increasing complexity and intelligence of cyber-attacks. Despite employees’ best intentions, from 2017 to 2020, phishing attacks have reportedly increased from 72% to 86% among businesses.

By discovering clues, solving puzzles and deciphering riddles in the touring escape room, you will improve your understanding of potential cyber security risks all while learning how to reduce the impact of a cyber-attack by protecting online information and assets.

Come to the area outside the Minerva building to grab a 30 or 60 minute slot in the escape room for up to six people. Lincoln will be hosting the CGI Cyber Escape Room for just one week from 11 am on Monday 24 until Friday 28 October.
