NIHR /NHSE Training – Celebration Conference

The University hosted a celebration event in June for the East Midlands Clinical Academic Research Training for Health and Social Care professionals.

The full day conference was attended by over 100 delegates from right across the East Midlands. Keynote speakers included Prof Avril Drummond, Senior Chair NIHR Doctoral Clinical Academic Fellowship Panel and Richard Milham, Senior NIHR programme manger, as well as oral presentations from a wide range of previous and current scholars at various stages of their clinical academic career.

The event has received really positive feedback and is was wonderful to see the progression of out current and former interns.
