The Lincoln Institute for Advanced Studies is delighted to invite you to Professor Kate Grafton’s Inaugural lecture ‘Making a Difference Locally and Globally: Advancing Education, Research, and Innovation in Allied Health”

Join Professor Kate Grafton as she shares her professional journey from qualifying as a physiotherapist at Nottingham School of Physiotherapy, to over a decade in clinical practice within the NHS specialising in musculoskeletal pain. After transitioning into academia, Kate spent 20 years at Sheffield Hallam University before becoming Head of the School of Health and Social Care at the University of Lincoln in 2019.

This lecture highlights her transformation across three key areas: advancing clinical practice, fostering international collaboration, and building research capacity. Kate will discuss how experience, networks, and collaboration drive impactful initiatives, inspiring future leaders to embrace change and contribute to shaping a better healthcare landscape.
