Immersive presentation and discussion with Actors for Human Rights

The Lincoln Law School Research Group on International Law & Human Rights will host an immersive presentation and discussion with the charity, Actors for Human Rights on Tuesday 8 April 2025, from 4pm – 5:30 PM in Bridge House, BH1102.

Seb Aguirre, is ‘a queer human rights activist and theatre practitioner from the Chilean refugee diaspora in the UK and the director of the Actors For Human Rights project at ice&fire, a human rights focused theatre company and registered charity.’

They have been working with the higher education sector for over a decade. Last year, they visited over 30 university faculties across the country and internationally and are now coming to Lincoln for the first time.

ice&fire have been running Actors For Human Rights since 2006, sharing verbatim testimony on a variety of human rights topics across the UK. They work with both professional actors and people with lived experience to perform the testimonies in a variety of settings. This is Who I Am presents the experiences of LGBTQIA+ people seeking refuge in the UK.
