National Stress Awareness Month – EAP Webinar

9 APR
  posted by Olivia Warbey

April is National Stress Awareness Month. Stress Awareness Month has been held every April since 1992, to increase public awareness about both the causes and cures for our modern stress epidemic.

Stress is our body’s response to pressure that manifests itself in many different ways. It’s the feeling of being overwhelmed and finding it hard to cope emotionally or mentally. Taking time to identify the emotional and mental pressures in our lives and addressing them is a good way to understand and protect our mental health.

In support of Stress Awareness Month, our EAP provider, Care First will be delivering a webinar entitled: ‘Disappearing down the rabbit holes of burnout and breakdown’, with guest speaker: Dr Terence Nice a Senior Psychotherapist from Priory Healthcare.

Date: Wednesday 9 April
Time: 12pm – 1pm
