The University of Lincoln’s graduation ceremonies are the highlight of the year, celebrating the achievements of our students and colleagues.

Graduation ceremonies rely on the dedication and support of staff ushers, who play an essential role in ensuring the smooth and safe running of the event. We are inviting colleagues to support the ceremonies taking place from Monday 8 September to Monday 15 September.

A range of usher roles will be available, including ticketing, assisting with gowning graduands, showing guests to their seats and looking after VIP guests.

Before signing up, please ensure you have approval from your line manager, as the nature of the event means you will likely be unable to carry out your usual work duties while ushering.
