Professor Stuart Humphries appointed Interim Pro Vice Chancellor (Research and Commercialisation)

Following a competitive interview process, Professor Stuart Humphries has been appointed as Interim Pro Vice Chancellor (Research and Commercialisation).

Stuart has substantial experience in leadership, teaching, research, and administration in higher education. As Dean of Research Environment, he has played a key role in central academic leadership of the University’s research environment and culture, including the definition and implementation of the research and knowledge exchange strategy. He will take up his role with immediate effect.

Stuart said:

“I’m delighted to take on the Interim PVC (Research and Commercialisation) role. My priority will be supporting colleagues to strengthen our research environment and implement the Global Lincs Research Strategy – building partnerships and delivering impact aligned with our shared ambitions.”

Professor Karl Dayson, Provost and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), said:
