Free Webinar for All Colleagues – World Mental Health Day Webinar

World Mental Health Day is recognised every year on Friday 10 October. The day is about coming together to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. Talking about our mental health can help us cope better with life’s ups and downs.Â
In support of World Mental Health Day, our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provider, CareFirst, are hosting a Mental Health Awareness Webinar on Wednesday 8 October at 12pm.Â
This Webinar is FREE to all colleagues, and you can register your place by clicking here.Â
Here at the University, we also have a range of support networks in place, so if you are, or you know someone who is, experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress, you can access information about mental health support by visiting the portal page. On this page you will find details regarding our pool of Mental Health First Aiders, details about the support available via our Employee Assistance Programme, as well as links to external support groups such as Andy’s Man Club and the Samaritans.
