Parliamentary Calls

Updated weekly, this page lists all the current parliamentary calls for evidence.

When the Commons and Lords Select Committees announce an inquiry, they invite the public – including academics – to submit written evidence. The committees then invite groups or individuals to give oral evidence. This is a great opportunity to raise the profile of your research, shape and change the policy agenda and have demonstrable research impact. Parliament is keen to hear from researchers from different career stages, disciplines, Institutions and backgrounds.

The links for each call contain further details. You don’t need to respond to all the questions raised. Tips for responding to Select Committee calls for evidence can be found here https://www.parliament.uk/get-involved/committees/give-evidence-to-a-select-committee/#A5 please also contact the Policy Hub on policyhub@lincoln.ac.uk if you have any queries.
