LINCOLN_TheBigDraw_A1_3The Big Draw is a National Celebration of all things drawing, (in any media) and is taking place on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd November at the University. Events on campus are organised by the College of Arts.

In the Art Architecture and Design studios guests can do natural form 3D drawing with wire on the Wednesday in Graphics 2 Studio. There is an opportunity to draw the turbines in the Siemens building, have a go at mono printing, try ‘macro to monster mini beast drawing’ in the Maker Lab, and draw crazy creatures and robots in the Atrium. These activities are on both days.

In the AAD Gallery there is more 3D drawing, and virtual reality Google ‘Tilt Brush‘. The gallery also features Interactive Design’s bicycle drawing machine, which you can have a go with while meeting the machine’s makers. There will also be printing and drawing activities.
Pupils from schools across the county are participating in both days events. All University staff and students are invited to come and participate in the Gallery events between 10am and 12 noon and 12.45pm to 4.30 pm, and the studio events after 2pm.
The event starts at 10am and continues until 4.30 pm on both days.
