This course is aimed at those who support students and/or staff in their work – in an academic, student admin or technical role.
All staff are welcome to attend the Continuous Improvement session, which will be held in person and take place on 28th March 2023 from 09.30 – 12.30 in the Minerva building, room MB3202.
The workshop will look at techniques of assertiveness and when to use them and understanding our own triggers and develop strategies for dealing with situations we find challenging.
This is an opportunity for academics of all career stages (post-doctorate/equivalent research experience and above) to discuss any aspect of research funding and bid development with the Research Development Team.

This interactive and practical workshop explores how we can reframe EDI both from a personal and systemic perspective and begin having more meaningful conversations and allowing people to both understand ‘inclusive leadership’ and develop personal strategies to ensure individual and systemic biases are effectively managed.
Two half day workshops, ‘Communicating Well’ and ‘Personal Brand and Influencing for Impact’ that can be attended stand-alone or as a two part programme, with content that layers to build personal performance and capability to unlock outcomes at work.
