Body Image Training Program Study
I am a researcher in the School of Psychology looking for females (as assigned at birth) to take part in a body image study testing the effectiveness of a cognitive training program. It is a longitudinal study and will require you to come into the lab on 6 different occasions across a 30 day period (start date and times are flexible). There is a £30 cash payment for participation. Please note there is a short online pre-screening questionnaire to complete beforehand to assess eligibility.
What will the study involve?
– Body measurements using a bio impedance scale and a tape measure
– Creations of current and ideal bodies using 3D software (no experience required)
– Questionnaires about eating habits, body concerns, depression and self-esteem
– Computerised body size perception training task
To read the information sheet and complete the pre-screening questionnaire, please follow this link – http://bit.ly/BITstudy (you will only be contacted if you are eligible to take part).
