Digital Communications Protocol

Dear Colleagues,

The way we engage with each other within the University community and with others beyond the University has changed significantly over recent years. Digital communication in a variety of forms has become an essential tool within teaching and learning, business operations and the wider engagement of the University. A document titled Digital Communications Protocols has been developed to provide guidance to all staff on the choice of communication tools, some basics on ensuring protection of personal data when communicating, and general guidance for all internal and external digital communications.  The document has a short bullet point quick tip list, more detailed guidance and a useful diagram showing how the various communication and collaboration tools can be used.
