Tristram Hunt Lecture – Prince Albert’s Great Legacy: The V&A Today
Dr Tristram Hunt is the Director of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London – the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance is visiting Lincoln Cathedral on Thursday 10th October 2019 to give a lecture entitled ‘Prince Albert’s Great Legacy: The V&A Today.’
The V&A is the world’s largest museum of applied and decorative arts and design, as well as sculpture, housing a permanent collection of over 2.27 million objects. It was founded in 1852 and named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
