Rising Star Awards 2019
Two colleagues from the Lincoln International Business School have been shortlisted for the ‘30 under 30 Rising Star’ awards 2019!
James Wright, Senior Lecturer from the Department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics and Bradley Smith, Operations Manager were nominated by colleagues as examples of two professionals under the age of thirty who are demonstrating remarkable expertise, initiative, drive and passion within their field.
The annual county competition organised by Stonebow Media, in conjunction with local businesses, allows an opportunity to publicly recognise such ‘rising stars’ and James and Bradley will be attending an event for shortlisted nominees on the 31st October at Lincoln Cathedral.
Of learning he had been shortlisted, James said “I’m delighted to have been shortlisted for this award, however I must say the credit should also go to the fantastic colleagues I have worked with in LIBS since arriving, as without them, I wouldn’t be in this position. Thank you all again for your continued support and I look forward to working with the team this academic year.”
Bradley commented “I’m delighted to be shortlisted alongside such a high calibre field and I appreciate the support from colleagues throughout my time at University, which has enabled me to be considered in such a light.”
We congratulate them on this achievement.
