Academic Appraisal – Appraiser Workshop

This event aims to equip participants to act as appraisers in the University’s Academic Appraisal Scheme.

By the end of this session you will be able to:
• To describe the benefits of appraisal to the individual, School and University.
• To understand the process, documentation and responsibilities within the scheme
• To use a systematic framework for effective appraisal discussions
• To set relevant and effective objectives with the appraise
• To identify the appraiser skills that contribute to effective appraisals

The workshop is aimed at any member of staff acting as an appraiser. This session will take place on 16th December from 10:00-11:30.
