New Video Based Learning Toolkit for staff & New Video Based Learning Special Interest Group (VBL SIG)

The Digital Education team have released a Video-Based Learning toolkit and launched a Special Interest Group for those currently engaging and those wanting to engage in video-based learning but who would like some support.

Toolkit
The toolkit covers three levels of practice:

• Getting Started with Lecture Recording – details an easy way to engage with using video in your teaching.
• Going Further: Recording Video Based Learning Outside the Classroom – covers techniques and tips to get you started on your way to creating engaging videos for student learning.
• Advanced: Designing and implementing video feedback practices

Special Interest Group (SIG)
There will be weekly SIG meet-ups each Wednesday in January (8, 15, 22 & 29) from 1-2pm in different locations around campus. These will be a mix of in-person and digital.
