Influencing Skills

The aim of this workshop is to build understanding and skills on how to effectively influence others in the workplace.

By the end of this session you will be able to:
• To identify how people influence others
• Understand sources of power and influence
• Understand your goal and recognise what’s in it for the other person
• Use influence strategies to best affect
• Know key questions to ask when seeking to influence others
• Gain interpersonal skills crucial to influencing others, including honesty, authenticity and transparency
• Recognise how unconscious bias may impact on who and how we influence others
• Gain networking skills

This workshop is aimed at grades 6 and 7 and the next session is on 21st January from 9:30-12:30.
