Staff Wellbeing Activities: w/c 20th January

Please see below for the week’s Activities. All Staff Wellbeing activities are free to attend and do not need to be booked in advance unless stated.

Monday 20th January
• Board Games Night. 6:00-10:00pm. Pier Café.
• Lunchtime Walking Club. 12:00pm start. 30-40min walk. Pier Café.
• Couch to 10K. From 5:15pm. Sports Centre.

Tuesday 21st January
• Staff Football. 5:00-6:00pm. Front Astroturf in front of the Sports Centre.
• Staff Social Netball. 5:00-6:00pm. Sports Centre.

Wednesday 22nd January
• Staff Yoga. 12:30-1:15pm. Sports Centre. Dance Studio.

Thursday 23rd January
• Badminton. 5:00-6:00pm. Sports Centre (charges apply).
• Running Club. Meeting time of 5:15pm at Sports Centre ready to run at 5:30pm.
• Meditation. 12:00-1:00pm. MB2306. Minerva Building.
• Cricket. City School. For further details, please email Joe Willey or Rick Battenbough.

Saturday 25th January
• Lincoln Park Run. Organised Externally. Please see the link below for more information.

Sports Therapy – staff experiencing a minor sport related injury can attend a free consultation including assessment and treatment with a qualified sports therapist alongside a student. Wednesdays 1:00-4:00pm (45 minute appointment). Please contact staffwellbeing@lincoln.ac.uk for more details and to book an appointment.

Free Personalised Exercise Programme – are you concerned about your health and think you may need benefit from some exercise? How about one-to-one support for 12 weeks with third year undergraduate students, and a personalised programme of physical activity, for free! Please see the link below for more information.

The HR portal hosts a number of Meditations and Mindful meditations as audio resources. These are specifically recorded for the University and include some of the favourites. There is also the monthly subscription newsletter that provides information and tips on wellbeing themes around mindfulness and other wellbeing at the University. The updated Restful Sleep programme provides advice and a step by step programme to improving your sleep.
