Supporting University Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

Professor at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and Director of the Centre for Autism Research and Education (CARE) Ashleigh Hillier who is a graduate of the University of Lincoln, will discuss a range of intervention programmes designed to support the success of university students on the autism spectrum in higher education. These include a college preparation programme, a peer mentoring program, and a support group. She will overview the design and outcomes for these programmes and discuss how they could apply to a broad range of student populations.
