All staff training coordinated through the HR booking system has been cancelled until the end of May. As staff move to working remotely on a rotational basis and in line with government and Public Health England advice for social distancing, all training has been cancelled until the end of May.

This session is intended for staff who wish to gain a basic understanding of Photoshop in order to create effective graphic communications, such as posters, flyers and social media graphics, within University’s corporate branding guidelines. Focusing on both the theory and practical application of Photoshop, along with some key design principles.

On completing this session participants will be equipped to utilise a range of Photoshop tools, as well as have a basic understanding of design theory and aesthetic considerations to apply in their work. The overarching learning intention is that staff will be equipped with the basic concepts of the software and will then be able to apply this to their role in creating, editing and manipulating imagery, graphics and text for a range of print and online purposes.

This workshop is aimed at those wishing to create internal design campaigns using a feature-rich software package or increase knowledge of design theory understanding. This session will take place on 25th March from 14:00-16:00.
