One of our recent Doctoral Scholars, Dr Mansura Akter, has been appointed as an independent director to Agni Systems, an internet service provider in Bangladesh. Her appointment is in compliance with mandatory shareholding rules as the company’s sponsor-directors failed to hold minimum 30 per cent shares.

Dr Akter completed her PhD within 3 years from the University of Lincoln and was supervised by Lincoln International Business School academics Dr Mahfuzur Rahman and Dr Dragana Radicic. She is currently working as an Associate Professor, within the Department of International Business at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
