Entrepreneurial Student Scoops National Awards

Congratulations to Law student Luke Smith, founder of Seaweed Culture, who recently picked up three awards at the national Ingenuity Impact awards.

Ingenuity is a national programme looking to invest in the next generation of impact driven start-ups that will transform society and the environment. The judges looked for innovative products, services and partnerships from across all parts of the UK that engage in the circular economy, reduce the carbon footprint, and help change the way we live.

Shakespeare Martineau Legal Prize East Midlands  – 1 of 2 winners, sharing £4,000 worth of legal support

Shakespeare Martineau were looking to award their prizes to new innovative start-ups that will deliver sustainable social impact across the UK.

East Midlands Regional Champions – 2nd place winning £2,000    

These were decided from the top 20 East Midlands finalists.

National Challenge Champion for Tackling Climate Change – £3,000

Tackle Climate Change was one of the four challenges the programme focused on.
