The Postgrad Awards judges “praised University of Lincoln for putting the climate emergency agenda alongside it’s postgraduate student recruitment efforts.”
Prof Libby John, Pro Vice Chancellor / Head of College of Science, said: “I am thrilled to hear that we have won this award which reflects our passion at Lincoln for keeping the climate and biodiversity crises at the forefront of our activities. The scholarship allowed us to recruit like-minded students who care about making the world a better place and to plant trees which are thriving at our beautiful Riseholme campus.”
Beth Pearson, Post Graduate Recruitment Manager, said: “I’m delighted that the hard work of the postgraduate team, and the wider CDM team and Colleges, over the last year has been recognised through the Find A Masters Postgrad Award for Best PG Marketing & Recruitment Campaign in 2021.
“Climate change is such an important concern for everyone, and because the last year was understandably dominated by the covid-19 pandemic it was something that risked being overlooked. We wanted to continue to promote the University of Lincoln’s climate emergency work through our postgraduate marketing and recruitment campaign. To have the University nationally recognised for its strength in marketing and recruitment, as well as the work we are doing to raise awareness of this climate emergency, is really wonderful.
