International Conference on Business and Finance

Congratulations to staff from the Department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics for organising another successful international conference in collaboration with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam on the 27th September 2021.

The conference agenda was aimed at academics. students and practitioners from around the world and featured the University of Lincoln Research Symposium as well as a formal acknowledgement for the PHD partnership between the University of Lincoln and the University of Economics. With warm welcomes issued by Dr Craig Marsh, Pro Vice Chancellor, Siobhan Goggin, Head of Department and Vietnamese Higher Education leaders, other key note speakers attended from the USA, Korea, India as well as presentations from Lincoln International Business School academics.

As well as further cementing the excellent relationship between Lincoln and Vietnam, it was noted that the collaboration benefits the UK/Vietnamese policy and economic research, with a consortium planned to further expand this area of mutual interest. Dr Hao Quach, one of the main organisers of the event commented, “ It was once again an honour to collaborate with academic colleagues in Vietnam in hosting this international conference. We were delighted by the range of attendees from around the world, and the notable contribution they made to the agenda”
