Industry Week Based Off Student Feedback

21-25th Feb
 posted by Amber Gumm

From student feedback and data, we know that the majority of students are confused about their career path after university. As a result, Careers & Employability are running a week of face-to-face, on campus support to help students gain insight into various different industries, particularly targeted at students who are confused about their future career path.

Careers Curiosity Week, 21st – 25th February, focuses on the top industries that students have told us they are most interested in. They will be able to hear from industry representatives, many of them Lincoln alumni, who will share information about their sector and their personal career journey.

Careers Curiosity Week, 21- 25 February
• Monday – Legal and Criminal Justice System
• Tuesday – Health
• Wednesday – Science and Technology
• Thursday – Education
• Friday – Heritage and Built Environment

We receive lots of feedback that students don’t feel confident attending employer events. There’s no pressure for students to engage with panel members directly at the events; they can simply just come along and listen if they prefer.
All events are open to all students.

Student can be directed to lncn.ac/curiosity to find out more.
