Happy National Learning at Work Week, following on with our daily updates, Wednesday’s theme will be Wellbeing & Celebration.

During the morning, we have a variety of sessions running in support of Staff Wellbeing:

• Our external partner Cushon is offering a financial education session about the rise of living and energy costs
• Join our staff wellbeing and engagement manager Rosie, who will deliver a presentation with an overview of the wellbeing provision for staff.
• We also have a bitesize session for managers on how to manage your team’s wellbeing and mental health with our trainer Carol Duff.

During the afternoon, a large group of staff will come together to celebrate achieving professional development programmes. The Organisational Development team haven’t been able to run the event during the pandemic so will be celebrating achievements from the last two years. This event provides a fantastic opportunity to celebrate colleague’s efforts and achievements. The event will include staff who have successfully completed ILM, Aurora and Inspire will receive a certificate. We will also be recognising the important role that mentors and line managers play in supporting staff development. Check out HR Line in May to see some pictures and information about the event.

Online Module of the Day

Personal Resilience is an important quality for helping you to adapt and develop effective coping strategies to deal with everyday stresses and can improve your overall wellbeing. It’s a key skill in today’s society with the pressures we face and can improve your mindset too. Personal resilience is not a personality trait which you either do or don’t have. It involves thoughts and behaviours which can be learned and developed through using some of the techniques in this module.
