Reshaping Teaching Excellence – AICPA & CIMA Research Grant Awarded to LIBS

The Lincoln International Business School is delighted that Dr Nadia Gulko, Associate Professor of Accounting, from the Department of Accountancy, Finance and Economics has been awarded an AICPA & CIMA Research Grant with support from the Global CGMA University and Academic Centre of Excellence (COE). This funding is for a 12 month project entitled “Reshaping teaching excellence through accounting and business students as generators and co-creators of value for business and society: A nine-country, five-continent comparative analysis”. As part of this grant, a part-time Post-Doctoral Research Associate will be joining Lincoln in September to support the research team.

Nadia commented: “I look forward to working on this project in collaboration with a fantastic team of outstanding accounting educators and researchers across the world! I am grateful for the support, advice, and insightful guidance provided by my external research mentor Professor Christine Helliar at the University of South Australia (UniSA), as part of the BAFA Accounting Education SIG Mentorship programme; and also by my internal research mentor Associate Professor Shrabani Saha at the University of Lincoln, who sits on the editorial board of “Journal of Travel Research” (ABS-4*) and “Tourism Analysis” (ABS-2*) and is the Associate Editor of “International Journal of Finance and Economics” (ABS-3*).
