Management Essentials: Develop Staff
This half-day course looks at the development of individuals and teams from a management role and introduces various frameworks and tools to enhance learning and development.
Objectives/Outcomes:
• Gain an awareness of different learning styles and what that means for a manager
• Understand the role of Organisational Development
• Introduce the importance of Talent Management: workforce planning, attracting talent, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and engagement and retention
• Developing skills matrices
• Identify the benefits of using development tools and frameworks
• Using work based development to encourage and support individual and team development
This session is aimed at any current or aspiring line managers at any grade.
