Merit & Achievement Awards 2022

  posted by hgamble | 14/07/2022

We are excited to announce that the University of Lincoln’s flagship recognition scheme is back for another year! These awards celebrate and acknowledge the amazing achievements of all colleagues and their contribution to the organisation over the last 12 months.

Individual winners will receive a recognition award to their Linc-On account and teams will receive a reward to their local project code to support their work and celebrate as a team.

This year will see the return of the in-person event at the Engine Shed, with all winners invited to the ceremony where they will be joined by the Senior Leadership Team and receive their award from the Vice Chancellor, Neal Juster.

Taking place on 10th November 2022, the ceremony will see colleagues enjoy a locally sourced lunch to be served during the ceremony followed by canapes after the event, giving the opportunity to celebrate together over the course of the afternoon and early evening.

Nominations are to be submitted through Linc-On, which is available on all corporate desktops (https://www.linc-on.co.uk/).

The nomination window is open from 1st July 2022 and closes on 31st August 2022.

Individual Merit Awards acknowledge those who have continued to deliver exceptional performance over the last 12 months, directly impacting the achievements of their department and positively represent the university. Nominations must be submitted with the approval of the individual’s line manager. All nominations will be reviewed by the Vice Chancellor.

Team Achievement Awards nominations should be based on the exemplary performance of the team over the last year or the successful delivery of a project that has directly impacted the reputation of the university. Nominations must be supported by the department’s lead or manager. Team Achievement Awards are judged by the Executive Remuneration Committee, which comprises members of the Senior Leadership Team.

Behavioural Awards celebrate those individuals or teams that deliver their role whilst demonstrating the key University of Lincoln behaviours and are part of the #OneCommunity values. These awards are peer to peer nominations and are reviewed by the Vice Chancellor.

These awards are an opportunity to recognise the contribution of your team over the last 12 months.
