New Dean of International and Postgraduate Study

Claire Randerson has been appointed as the new Dean of International and Postgraduate Study.

Claire has worked in the School of Social and Political Sciences for more than 20 years, specialising in international relations.

Claire will officially begin her new duties from mid-September 2022, working directly with the Dean of LALT on introducing a number of projects designed to enhance the existing student experience for international and postgraduate taught students. Claire will continue her Deputy Head of School role until the new Head of School takes up post, she will also continue to support the School during her Deanship.

Claire said: “For many years, my professional focus, passion and enthusiasm has lain in the area of internationalisation, from supporting the student experience of international students, to internationalising the university experience of home students, alongside researching into the international higher education policy environment.

“I’m very excited about the creation of this role to support international and postgraduate taught students and to ensure this growing population have the best possible experience during their time at Lincoln. I am really looking working with LALT and colleagues across the University to promote and support the importance of international and postgraduate taught students here.”
