Professor Sharon Green appointed Director of Apprenticeship and Skills

Professor Sharon Green has been appointed as the University’s Director of Apprenticeship and Skills. Sharon will lead our new Apprenticeship and Skills team who will be working to deliver our strategic priorities in this area.

The team will work very closely with apprenticeship programme teams and relevant professional service teams from across the university, supporting them with key processes required by OFSTED and the ESFA. As our numbers of apprentices continues to grow this is an essential part of our evolution as a provider to best support our learners and employers.

Professor Sharon Green said: “It is an incredible privilege to be given the opportunity of driving strategic priorities in our journey as an apprenticeship provider.

“I am looking forward to working with colleagues across the University who recognise the valuable role of providing a high quality of education across our further and higher education programmes. We have ambitious plans to grow our apprenticeship numbers which will continue to provide the solid foundations of a highly skilled innovative workforce across Lincolnshire and beyond”.

Sharon will continue to work as Deputy Head at the National Centre for Food Manufacturing, Holbeach, dividing her time between the two roles.
