Lincoln City Half Marathon – Roads and Parking

  posted by gathomas | 12/09/2022

The Lincoln City Half Marathon will be taking place on Sunday 18 September, and the University of Lincoln is proud to be a supporter and sponsor of this exciting citywide event.

Runners will be coming through the Brayford Campus at the 4-mile mark between 8:45am and 11am, and then on to complete the 13.1 mile loop which takes them from near Boultham Park to The Lawn and back via some of the city’s most recognisable sights.

The organisers are encouraging everyone who can to come and support the runners. The event is raising funds for the Lincoln City Foundation, which aims to tackle social inequality in the city.

Anyone coming onto campus on Sunday 18 September should use the gravel car park off Rope Walk, as all other car parks will be closed.

There will be road closures and diversions in place throughout the day, some of which will be around Brayford Campus.

The roads around the university form part of Zones 3 and 4 and several will be closed between 8am and 12pm, so please plan your journeys ahead.
