Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) 2023
The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) will be running at the University from 20 March until 14 May 2023. This is a national online survey, co-ordinated by AdvanceHE.
This survey is an opportunity for our postgraduate research students to feed back on their experience in a range of topics, including supervision, research culture, progress and assessment, responsibilities, research skills and professional development.
We need to know what our postgraduates think so we can address any issues and keep doing what is valued. It is an opportunity for them to say what went well and what could have been improved.
On 20 March our enrolled postgraduate research students will receive an email invitation containing a direct link to the survey which should only take around 15 minutes to complete. This email will be sent from the Jisc Online surveys system.
Please do encourage your postgraduate research students to support this initiative and give their honest and constructive feedback. Colleagues from the Doctoral School will also be communicating directly to students and supervisors promoting the survey and encouraging its participation.
The results from this survey will be made available via the University dashboards early in the summer.
