Organised by Dr Gábor Gergely (Lead); Dr Hannah Andrews; Dr Jeongmee Kim; Dr Chris O’Rourke; Dr Thomas Sutherland; Dr Clare Watson at The Lincoln School of Film, Media and Journalism. The 2023 annual BAFTSS (British Association of Film, Television and Screen Studies) conference is taking place 3-5 April at the University of Lincoln.

The conference’s theme is ‘Sustainable Futures: Ethics, Responsibility and Care in Film, Television, Screen Studies and Practices.’ This international conference will host over 100 delegates from all over the world. Scholars, practitioners, filmmakers, organisations and early career researchers will come together to address this essential topic and explore how to enable a more sustainable future for the creative industries.
