Handling Challenging Conversations
This engaging session will build skills, confidence and impact in preparing for and tacking difficult situations.
The aims are to:
• Identify key features of difficult situations
• What helps and hinders challenging conversations
• Work on tools in assertive communication and conflict management
• Share feedback on handling difficult situations
• Learn from others’ approaches
• Identify how and when to put learning into practice
During the session, we’ll look at challenging conversations from different perspectives, including: choosing pictures which represent diverse features of working relationships; completing the insightful Drivers/Working styles questionnaire and working through your individual situations.
