We are delighted to announce exclusive Lincoln Institute for Agri-Food Technology tours at Riseholme Campus, designed specifically for our Professional Services staff that are new to the Riseholme campus. Join us for an unforgettable experience as we delve into the world of agricultural automation and robotics.

The Lincoln Institute for Agri-Food Technology (LIAT) based at the University’s Riseholme Campus is home to a working farm with specialist research facilities. LIAT’s multi-disciplinary team brings together sector-leading expertise in a diverse range of areas such as; artificial intelligence, robotics, engineering, crop science, environmental sustainability, food manufacturing, product development and supply chains. LIAT’s goals include supporting and enhancing the future of food and agriculture productivity, efficiency, and sustainability through research, education, and technology.

David May, Deputy Director of LIAT, will lead the tours which will include the workshops, walled garden and polytunnels – there may even be some strawberries available ready to taste! During this engaging tour, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and see for yourself the research that is taking place within the Riseholme Park Campus.

Location: Riseholme Campus. The meeting point for this tour is Riseholme Hall.
