Changes to Digital Systems to Reflect the New College Structure

  posted by Ian Richards | 18/07/2023

In line with the University’s 2022/27 Strategic Plan, Transforming Lives and Communities, and the announcement regarding Changes to Our Academic Structure, ICT Services need to ensure the University’s digital systems align with the two-college structure before the start of the 2023/24 academic year.

To do this, ICT has been working with a range of stakeholders across the University to prepare for the changes to our digital systems ahead of the transition on 1 August 2023, where they are making changes to our systems, including:

* Student Management Systems

* Finance Systems

* Research and Quality Management Systems

* PPC Systems

It will take a couple of days for these changes to filter through to all our managed systems, and some systems may need some manual intervention whilst the changes settle down. ICT is working with stakeholders to make the process as smooth as possible and appreciates everyone’s support during this time.

Over the coming weeks, ICT will follow up with further updates as progress is made. In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Israel Essien – ICT Project Manager (IEssien@lincoln.ac.uk).
